Description
Passara in Uva Province is a small town in the southeastern corner of Sri Lanka’s central highlands, at the southeastern base of the Namunukula mountain. The A5 road from Kandy via Badulla and Bibile to Batticaloa crosses Phaiyangala, where trunk roads branch off to Moneragala (A22) Buttala (B359 and B 35) and a dead-end road to Madulsima (B360), where a spectacular cliff called “Mini World’s End” and several waterfalls are located. B113 from Passara to Ella is one of Sri Lanka’s most scenic mountain roads.
