Kalmunai is a coastal city in Ampara District. It is the largest city in the Eastern Province, Sri Lanka.population It is one of the few Muslim-majority municipalities in the country. Fishing is one of the major incomes of Muslim people living here. Coast is found full of fishing boats of all kinds.
