Home town is Kandy Sri Lanka, spent his career as a teacher in local schools. Since childhood practiced painting as a hobby and He says his whole artistic career so far has been a journey of experimentation. His innovative work, especially in watercolor, is popular at the gallery. Contributed for the monthly exhibition held in KANDY CITY CENTER by Sri Lanka Art Educationists Association and also participated KALA POLA annual open air art fair which has been held annually under the patronage of The George Keyt foundation in association with John Keells Foundation. Paintings are done in all mediums but specialized in water color. His landscape paintings are appreciated by foreign art lovers as well as locals.
